Hello! My name is Yash Kapadia. I’m a creative and passionate individual with a unique journey that bridges two cultures. Born and raised in India, I moved to the United States at age 14. I never imagined myself working in the film industry if I had stayed in India. Since then, I have embraced opportunities to grow, learn, and pursue my passions. Throughout my academic journey, I developed a love for storytelling and visual creativity, which led me into the world of film editing.

Yash believes film editing is more than just creation; it’s all about suffering, like giving birth—spending months writing, planning, shooting, and finally giving birth during the editing process. Editing is not only about pictures, it's about showing pictures with sound. I believe that editing is one of the most challenging aspects of the filmmaking process. With a blend of technical skills, cultural perspective, and creative passion, I continue to explore new ways to tell stories, connect with audiences, and leave my mark in the digital world.
